Pumpkins! are back for fall, and you can always count on Knitty for fun, original patterns for free, free, free. Hence these fancy little felted pumpkins. I imagine they'd be really fun to throw at someone, even if you can't use them to make a delicious pie.

Gah! So cute! I forgot about these. I would knit a little jack-o-lantern face onto them.
Aw, that would be adorable. Or maybe sew/glue on the face in black felt, once the pumpkins were felted. I think my favorite part of this pattern is the curly vine :)
These are indeed quite cool. As one who has a Halloween birthday, I'm particularly fond of pumpkins. Claire, you might want to take a look at these as possible decorations for your upcoming nuptuals.
